NetEnt extends partnership with PokerStars New Jersey
NetEnt, a leading provider of premium online gaming solutions has signed a license agreement with PokerStars’ parent company Amaya Incorporated to supply desktop and mobile games to the PokerStars New Jersey.
NetEnt has signed an important customer agreement for the regulated online casino market in New Jersey. The company will be applying for a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) to launch operations with Amaya’s online poker brand, PokerStars, while their application for a full license is still under review.
NetEnt Americas LLC is the US branch of NetEnt AB (publ), a digital entertainment company, providing premium gaming solutions to more than 100 of the world’s best online casinos. The company was founded in 1996 in Stockholm, Sweden and they opened their US subsidiary in 2015. NetEnts employs more than 700 people in Stockholm and their various other global offices in Malta, Kiev, Gothenburg, Gibraltar, Poland and USA.
NetEnt has a history of work in New Jersey; they have working with other casinos in the past – Borgata/ bwin.party, Golden Nugget, Resorts Casino, Tropicana/ Gamesys and Caesars Interactive Entertainment. The company already collaborates with Amaya Inc. in Europe and will be extending that partnership to their New Jersey venture PokerStars, which is going live in NJ, USA on 21 March, 2016.
